DE LANGE, CLAUDE

Not how did he die but how did he live? Not what did he gain but what did he give? These are the units to measure the worth of a man as a man, regardless of birth. Not what was his church, nor what was his creed, but he had befriended those really in need. Was he ever ready with word of good cheer to bring back a smile to banish a tear? Not what did the sketch in the nespaper say but how many were sorry when he passed away? Say not in grief he is no more but live in thankfulness that he was.

We love you Dad,

Lloyd & Joy

CLAUDE FINLAY DE LANGE (PA)

Tribute to a man whose life was built around honesty, love, family values and the word of the Lord. He will be remebered most for his  kindness, caring nature and generosity. He was a true leader and a real example of what a man should be. The Lord broke the mould when he created a grandfather like him. We miss you and will never forget you. You will be in our hearts for eternity.

Love Linzi, Gareth, Kirsty & Levi.

The greatest man i have ever known.  / Gareth De Lange (Grandfather)

TO MY GRANDFATHER

Since I was a little child,
In all that I've been through;
You've always been my hero,
No one stood as tall as you.

You were the one who took the time,
To teach what I needed to learn;
The lessons in life you shared with me,
You shared with love and concern.

I loved you as a little child,
And now that I am grown;
I share those lessons you taught me;
With children of my own.

Generation to generation,
I'll pass on your legacy;
I'll tell of my loving Grandfather,
And all that you mean to me.

I Love You Always  / Lorna De Lange (Wife)
Claude

every second, every minute, every day.

LOVELY
is the way you make me feel ...

LOVINGLY
is how you always treat me.

Dearly LOVED
is what you'll always be to me -
in my heart, in my life endlessly.

Tribute to my Dad  / Kevin De Lange (Son)
Dad you were not only a father but a friend and a light that showed us to Jesus Christ.

A man of God, that feared,loved and served God.

Our loss is heaven's gain.

You always wanted the best for us.  You gave us the best when you gave your heart to Christ.

We will always miss you Dad but what you gave us no money could buy and that is Jesus Christ.

Enjoy heaven, Dad until we come home to be with you too.

His walking around on the streets of God.  And if I know my dad he must be checking out the workmanship and if everything is square and plump and level.

He must be standing back and praising God for the beauty he sees.  God's awesome workmanship of perfection.

I will miss you.
My inspiration  / Shayna Dunn (Grandaughter)

Your love for Jesus was so true
and you showed me the way so I could find him to.
Your smile lit up an entire room
and the light of Jesus was seen in you.
Whenever I asked you to do something
you'd never say no, you'd say:
"You're my good girl and I'll do anything for you".
I thank God for you and the times we shared,
the times I laid with you in your bed.
The love you had for Jesus soared beyond the skies
and your strength was amazing,
it could conquer all heights.
You taught me to trust God with all of my heart,
you words of wisdom will forever be with me.

Now you're sitting in the care of your Saviour and best friend.
Until the day I see you again, know that I love you so much
and you're the greatest grandpa I could have ever had.
To Aunty Lorna,Kevin and Debbie and the family  / Helen And Keith Axford (friends in the Lord )
Dear Aunty Lorna
Keith and I were so sad to hear of Bro. Claude's passing-our hearts ached for you as you said goodbye to your best friend.  We are praying for you; and I know without any doubt that Bro.Claude is sitting at the feet of Jesus and looking into His wonderful face and most probably asking our Lord to heal your broken heart. We praise God with you that we have the blessed hope that we will see our loved ones again in heaven.  when your heart hurts really badly, just think of the day when you go home to meet Jesus - Bro. Claude will be in the 'welcoming line'.  Please take comfort in the thought that we are praying for you and the family at this really difficult time
love from Canada - Keith and Helen Axford

Dear Kevin and Debbie
Our hearts hurt with you at this terrible time in your lives. We're praying for you and we know the pain you're going through, however take heart in the fact that we will all meet again in heaven.  Your father is just that much more fortunate than us: he sees Jesus face to face before us. Your mum is going to need you so much at this time; Debbie, Kevin is going to need you more than ever, be there for him. we're so sorry that we could not be there in person with you, but the 'Comforter" will never leave your side.
love you guys lots

Aunt Lorna and  Children, I am so sorry that I could not be with you on this day when you laid unlce Popeye to rest.  I am grateful that by the grace of God Ursula could be there to represent our family.  Today in a meeting in Philadelphia, the chair asked us as we began the day woth prayer to think of somneone we wanted to bring before God in a special way.  I thought of you all as a family and prayed that God's peace would be with you and His unfailing compassion would surround you.  Aunt Lorna, you will be in our hearts and prayers in the days to come.  We love you and pray God's comfort and strength for you in these days.  Uncle Popeye will be missed and we give thanks to God for his life.  BLessings and peace!  Stanley

Heaven is Richer  / Lester Lundall (Brother)
It was our privilege to have walked just a short distance with our brother Claude.  The fellowship and shared ministry was sweet.  Now he has walked on just ahead of us.  A man with a big heart, of love for his Lord, his wife and family, the family of God and those who do not yet know the Lord Jesus.  To Sister Lorna and the family we extend our prayers and encouragement, you will see him again, we all live with this hope and expectation.  Brother Claude was a generous man, and God never forgets ( Heb 6:10).  His influence will live on in the many lives he touched.  We now mourn, but when we are reunited, it will be worth it all when we see Jesus.     Lester, Francis and Luke
